Well, I just got pulled over in crump by officer Jones and he wrote me a ticket for wearing a seat belt. He obviously didn't have anything better to do and has no integrity. If he did, he wouldnt have pulled me over in the first place. I'll be sure to talk to everyone in the department about how nice officer Jones was about giving me a seatbelt ticket because I argued that I was wearing my seatbelt and wearing it proudly. Safety first.. oh and not to mention he said he didn't give a f if I were in the military.. thanks officer Jones
So unbelievable what happened this morning. My wife and I were on the way to our son's school. I have always had a little heavy foot and was traveling about 58 in a 45. When this car came flying up behind us and almost hit us from behind. To the point I told Sandy to hang on and braced for impact. He then crosses over the double yellow line and almost side swiped us as he passed. He began weaving all over the road into on coming traffic and onto the grass on the side of the road. We got his licence plate number and called the police. While on the phone we gave them a play by play as we watched him almost hit a jeep from behind, pass them illegally almost hit a dump truck from behind, travel on the wrong side of the road and narrowly miss a head on collision with an on coming dump truck. The dispatcher on the phone assured us there was an officer from the Crump Police Department waiting up the road to catch this guy. We asked if we needed to stop and be a witness for the officer, but the dispatcher said no. Well we stopped anyway, just because we were nosy and wanted to see what the heck the problem was. We watched the officer walk over to the car and ask the guy to step out. Then the officer did one sobriety test which was for the driver to walk heel to toe in a straight line. After 3 attempts in which the man could not take more than 3 steps without losing his balance, the officer walked over to the car and told the passenger to drive and shook the guys hand put him in the passenger seat and sent them on their way. He never asked for a drivers license from either of them. Not to mention SERIOUSLY????? He could have hurt himself, his passenger, and the other motorists on the road. What about kids on their way to school who this moron put in danger? The man didn't even get a slap on the wrist, he got a hand shake!!! What was that supposed to be, a good job for not successfully killing someone? LAZINESS is my biggest pet peeve. Do your job or stay home officer lazy. Stop wasting tax dollars and give the job to someone who will be glad to have it! They need to think of what kind of position that puts us in. Next time if we see something like that and don't call because nothing is going to happen anyway. God forbid that next driver does hurt or kill someone, then they could come back on us and say "why didn't you call it in?" Well officer lazy it's because of people like you! End of Rant
